Greg on the Beach
A group of friends and I joined up to participate in the Global Game Jam 2024 that was hosted by our University. Since it was our University holding the event, we were given the week off to focus on the event.
I was the Lead and only Producer and Designer on the team. The team was then equally split between Artists and Programmers, so we decided to lean more into an artsy game, allowing our Programmers to focus on new concepts they never tried before. It also was the first time many had used Unity before.
I was responsible for the level Designs and scope management for the game, allowing the player to pick routes of where they could walk, the faster they were, the more dangerous they were to the player.
