The Walking Bread
DESCRIPTION
The Walking bread is a Game Jam Project that I played a role in developing whilst working during the Summer.
I was responsible for the UI present in the game along with the design of the AI for the enemies within the game. I was also in control of the Player's attacks, how they were designed and how it would interact with the enemies within the game.

AI Design
I designed the AI to have one of 3 bases that they would then expand from, that being the standard, Tank and Range type Enemies. These enemies would all have a range, size, health and player view range attached to them that the mutations could then tweak.

Mutations were built on one of the 3 base enemies but had a twist to make them unique and special, giving more variety to the characters.

The other AI the game had was the Boss AI itself. This was an expanded AI, consisting of multiple attacks. The boss would be able to see the player at all time and attack them with one of 4 attacks planned, ranging from an arena sweep attack to a strong melee.
UI Design
The UI was designed with the purpose of making sure the player knew the options they had available to them when in combat and when fighting enemies. This consisted of a counter that contained the amount of actions they had left in their turn, their transport mode and the attack/blocks they had available.

While basic, it got the relevant info across, with the game making up for the lack of UI detail with on screen information.
